Summer Schedule
Posted By: Sifu Calph
On May 27, 2009 at 08:58

We will maintain our regular time schedule for the month of June. All of the Wednesdays in June are dedicated to preparing for our Fall Demonstration. We will begin each session with stretching and I am requesting a different volunteer for each week to lead those 10-15 minute stretch times.

For the month of July we will be closed on Saturday, July 4th, Monday, July 6th, and Wednesday, July 8th, returning to regular class times for the rest of the month.

Since summer is a time of travel and vacations, we wish you a safe and enjoyable summer. If you are in town, please attend as many classes as you are able. Please let us know when you will be out of town or gone for a few weeks. We appreciate it and it helps us plan our classes better.

Remember Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong will be here for Seminars on September 18, 19, and 20. Start saving for the seminars that you plan to attend. Be sure to tell Sifu (or an instructor) if you have any ideas for a seminar. Please to come to the banquet. We are also planning a cookout/pot luck and that will be a great time. We’ll need lots of help getting everything ready, so please volunteer to help in any way you can.

ALWAYS FEEL FREE TO CALL WITH ANY QUESTION OR CONCERNS. I VALUE YOUR INPUT.

A little contest! Each month we will be putting a "bug" in some random location on our web page. We'd like the students to find it. First person to find it wins a prize. It looks like this:

the bug

Part of the reason for this is so you get used to looking at the web page regularly. You just never know when something new will be posted. We'd also like suggestions on information you might like to see on the web page. Are there questions about tai chi you'd like us to post answers to?

The last two weeks, with the unusually warm temperatures, beautiful sunny days and cool nights, have been a true delight. And even though I always know the inevitable is coming, I'm still always a little surprised when I wake up to the first snow fall.

We hope you will take time from your busy schedules to come and experience tai chi with us. It is not about how many forms you learn but how well you do the forms you know. We take great pride here at Chinatown Tai Chi Center to teach well and also enjoy ourselves at the same time.

Reminder - Wednesday, November 26 - the day prior to Thanksgiving - is the only  planned day off during the month of November. Please Mark your calendar accordingly.
